Information we collect
When you use our website or place an order, we may collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, order and payment information, customer account details, IP address, device and browser information, cookies, pages viewed, and communications with our customer service team.

How we use your information
We use your information to process and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, manage your customer account, provide customer and after-sales service, process returns and refunds, improve our website and services, prevent fraud, send marketing communications where you have consented, and comply with our legal obligations.

Consent
By placing an order or creating an account, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us at contact@waldor-toronto.com. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing certain services.

Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential website functionality, analytics, performance and advertising purposes, including advertising that is tailored to you across other websites and applications. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, although some website features may not function correctly as a result.

Who we share your information with
We only share personal information where reasonably necessary to operate our business and provide our services. This may include Shopify, payment processors, our fulfillment partners, Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, Purolator and other delivery partners, customer service providers, analytics providers, advertising platforms and email marketing providers. We do not sell your personal information.

For example, your name, delivery address, phone number and relevant order information may be provided to our fulfillment and delivery partners so that your order can be prepared, dispatched and delivered.

Transfers outside Canada
VH Group Sàrl is based in Switzerland and some of the service providers we use operate internationally. As a result, your personal information may be processed or stored outside Canada, including in Switzerland, the United States and countries within the European Economic Area. While your information is in another jurisdiction, it may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that jurisdiction. We use contractual and other means to ensure a comparable level of protection.

Marketing communications
We send commercial electronic messages only to individuals who have given us express or implied consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. Every message identifies us as the sender, includes our mailing address and contact details, and provides a clear unsubscribe mechanism. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us at contact@waldor-toronto.com. We will action unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. You will continue to receive transactional messages about your orders.

How long we keep your information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, complete transactions, comply with legal and accounting obligations, prevent fraud and resolve disputes. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or anonymize it.

Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Payments are processed through our payment service providers and e-commerce platform. We do not directly store full payment card details on our own systems.

Breach of security safeguards
If a breach of security safeguards occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and report the breach to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and to any applicable provincial authority, as required by law.

Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete, request its deletion, or request a copy in a portable format where applicable law provides that right. To make a request, email contact@waldor-toronto.com. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within 30 days.
